Beth Lucas

The Outback Trail 2024

About

Beth Lucas returned to the industry in late 2021 with a new alt-country sound and has been busy carving her path within the country space, recently joining viral US country artist, Alexandra Kay, on her maiden Australian headline tour.

February 2024 sees Beth release her third country offering, ‘Rearview Mirror’. Beth teamed up with James North (Karise Eden, Andy Penkow) to record and produce the track, which features drums by US-based Travis McNabb (Sugarland, Megan Moroney).

Beth took first place in The Ekka’s Country Music Showdown, where she was a finalist for the second year in a row, impressing industry judges with her stage presence and song craft.

Beth graduated from the CMAA The Academy of Country Music Australia’s senior course (Academy) as the recipient of the coveted Keith Urban Scholarship, which took place ahead of Tamworth Country Music Festival (TCMF) 2023.

Beth had multiple appearances throughout the festival, including a guest invitation with Kevin Bennett & The Flood and being named in the Top 5 for the inaugural Radio 2TM “Discovered” talent competition.

2023 saw Beth open for Adam Brand, Taylor Moss and Matt Cornell at the first ever “Country on Kings” event, as well as releasing two (2) alt-country singles: Life of the Party (Song for Erin) and Home Town, both recorded and produced by the acclaimed multi-instrumentalist and engineer, Michael Moko (Melody Moko, Hayley Marsten, Catherine Britt)
